How to use this tool
- Choose one or more static PNG, JPEG or WebP images.
- Set the square size. Keep the whole image with coloured or transparent padding, or crop from the centre.
- Review the result and download your image or batch ZIP.
Things to know
- Static PNG, JPEG and WebP only, except tools explicitly accepting SVG. Maximum 50 files, 200 MiB combined, 25 MiB per image, 25 million input pixels, 32768 input pixels per side and 16 million output pixels. Composing several images is limited to 32 million decoded pixels combined. ZIP exports are limited to 64 MiB of output before compression. Files stay in this tab.
- Output is exactly square, with a side from 1 to 4000 whole pixels. Images are scaled proportionally and centred; centre crop removes outer edges.
- Transparent padding requires PNG or WebP. JPEG fills transparent pixels with white in crop mode or your padding colour in padded mode. Small source images may look softer when enlarged.
