How to use this tool
- Choose a PNG, JPEG or WebP image and the maximum file size.
- Allow dimension reduction if the target is small. The result reports its actual bytes and dimensions.
Things to know
- Up to 25 MiB per image, 50 MiB combined and 16 million pixels per image. Results are created in a local worker. Metadata is removed and colours may change on re-encoding.
- Compression is lossy. A result is only offered when its actual encoded size fits; otherwise increase the limit or allow smaller dimensions. JPEG uses a white background.
- Processing and results stay on this device. Inputs are bounded; no work is saved between visits.
