Text, selected files, filenames, generated results and searches are processed in this browser tab. Tool inputs and results are not sent to our server or analytics providers. Closing or clearing the tool releases its working data. If you accept Google Analytics, short tool-finder searches are shared with Google as described below.

What the browser downloads

The site downloads its own scripts, processing engines, icons and reference data. Larger tools, such as OCR and video editing, download their engines when you use them. These are static downloads from the same website, without your input attached.

Tool pages may also download optional starting values set by the site operator. You can change them or enter your own figures. This request contains no calculation input or result.

What is saved on this device

Your theme preference and the tool IDs you explicitly add to favourites are saved locally. Your analytics choice is saved for up to 180 days so we can respect it. The tools do not save your input or results. Downloads that you choose to save are ordinary files on your device.

Your catalogue search, filters and place in the results are saved with the page's browser history so Back and Forward return to the same view. Clear search or Reset clears the saved search for that visit. Your browser may keep these entries when restoring a session; earlier visits follow its history clearing controls.

Sharing links

Share site and Share tool include only the page link. Share search includes the search text and filters you choose to share, plus tool IDs when sharing a favourites list. It never includes tool inputs, files or results. The dialog shows the link before you copy it or choose a sharing app.

Shared searches use the part of the link after #. Browsers do not send that part to our server when opening the page. Anyone you share the complete link with can read its search and filters. Your chosen social network, messaging service or email app receives the shared link and handles it under its own privacy policy. We load no social widgets or tracking scripts for these controls.

Opening a shared favourites list does not change your own saved favourites. Shared links may remain in browser history, copied text or messages. Clear search and Reset change your current view; they do not revoke a shared link or remove the original link from your browser history.

Optional support payments

If enabled, the footer offers an optional way to support Pocket Fourteen. Opening that link takes you to Stripe's hosted payment page. We load no Stripe scripts, frames or payment cookies on this website, and do not send tool inputs, results, searches or the referring page to Stripe.

Stripe handles the payment information you enter there. Pocket Fourteen can access transaction and payer details provided through Stripe for receipts, accounting and refunds. This website does not store your payment details. See Stripe's privacy policy. All tools remain free whether you contribute or not.

Optional tool ratings

After using a tool, you can rate how well it worked by choosing one of five stars. That click saves your score and gives permission for a separate rating cookie. There is no account or questionnaire. You can use every tool without rating it, including when you reject analytics.

The cookie contains a random browser identifier and is used only for ratings. We store a hashed version, your scores and the date and version of your rating permission. This is pseudonymous personal data: your ratings can be linked to the same browser, but we do not ask for a name or email, fingerprint your device or link ratings to analytics, tool inputs or results. We publish only each tool's average score and review count.

All retained scores contribute to the average. A tool's public stars and review count appear only when it meets the site's minimum review count and average rating. You can still leave, change or delete your score when that summary is hidden.

Each browser has one current rating per tool. Choosing another star replaces that score, so repeat clicks do not increase the review count. Brief server rate limits also deter spam; network addresses are used in memory and are not saved with ratings. Clearing cookies, using private browsing or changing devices can allow another review. These are browser-based reviews, not verified individual people.

Your rating cookie and linked scores expire together, at most 365 days after you first allow the cookie. Changing a score does not extend that date. Expired ratings are excluded immediately and deleted on the next check or within an hour while the service is running. Unused cookie setup records are deleted after ten minutes on the next cleanup.

Our basis for storing your rating and its cookie is your consent when you choose a star. Manage your ratings to view or download them, or delete all your scores and the cookie to withdraw permission. You can also delete an individual score below the tool. Deletion removes it from the displayed average. You can consent again by choosing a star later. Rating controls are separate from Cookie preferences for analytics.

If you clear the cookie first, we cannot identify your old scores from your name or email. They still expire automatically; we do not collect extra identification to reconnect them. Protected backup copies may retain deleted records until the backup's retention period ends; restored rating records must be removed before the service reopens. Contact [email protected] about your data rights, or raise a concern with the Information Commissioner's Office.

Optional usage statistics

When enabled by the operator, we ask before collecting analytics. Accept and Reject are both available. You can change your choice at any time through Cookie preferences in the footer. Adding another analytics provider requires a new choice.

If you accept site usage statistics, we count the pages viewed, tools used, successes, failures, cancellations and elapsed processing time. We send only known page and tool identifiers, general outcome categories and bounded timings. We keep daily aggregate counts for 90 days, without visitor IDs, individual event histories, filenames, search text, input, results or error messages. Repeat page loads count again; these are not unique visitor figures.

Optional Google Analytics

If Google Analytics is enabled, the consent screen names it before you choose. Google scripts are not loaded before acceptance. After acceptance, Google uses analytics cookies and receives its usual session, browser and connection information, plus:

We never send tool input, files, filenames, results, error messages or custom user IDs, and we disable advertising features. Google Analytics is disabled while invitation-only access is active.

Withdrawing consent stops future analytics and removes analytics cookies that this website can access. It cannot undo information already sent. See Google's privacy policy for its handling of analytics information.

Invitation-only access

If an invite password is required, the password you enter is sent securely to our server to check access. A necessary cookie remembers your access for up to seven days, independently of your analytics choice. We store the access record needed to recognise this cookie, without tool inputs or results.

Requests to the website

Loading any website shares connection information, including an IP address, with its hosting and network providers. Everyday Toolset is intended for Pocket Fourteen hosting behind Cloudflare. Tool input and filenames are kept out of page URLs and requests. Search text stays out of requests to our server; it enters a share link only through the explicit sharing feature, and reaches Google only if you accept Google Analytics. The application does not record visitor access logs; infrastructure logging and its retention will be confirmed before public launch.

Camera and microphone

Scanning and voice recording request permission only when you start them. Media is handled in the browser. Stopping, clearing or leaving the tool releases the camera or microphone.

When you email us

We use your email address, message and any attachments you choose to send to handle your enquiry. Our email provider, Migadu, processes this correspondence; see Migadu's privacy policy. The website does not attach tool inputs or results to emails.

Essential preferences

Theme, favourites and your consent choice keep the site working as you expect. These remain available when you reject analytics.
