How to use this tool
- Enter each finished length and quantity on a line, separated by a comma.
- Enter your stock length and the material removed by one cut.
- Use the numbered stock lengths and suggested cuts to plan the job.
Things to know
- At most 200 pieces. Uses a descending first-fit heuristic; the layout is valid but not guaranteed globally optimal.
- Assumes one kerf per finished piece, so a final exact uncut stock piece can be counted conservatively. No end trim or grain matching.
- Processing and results stay on this device. Inputs are bounded; no work is saved between visits.
