How to use this tool
- Measure the track or pole and the finished drop. Enter your chosen fullness and number of equal panels.
- For a fabric estimate, enter the usable width after side hems and joins, plus top/bottom allowance and any straight-match repeat.
- Read the required flat width of each panel, fabric widths per panel and total cut length.
Things to know
- The required flat panel width is pole width times fullness divided by panel count. Ready-made packs often state the width of each panel; check the label.
- Fabric widths are rounded up separately for each matching panel. Each cut is rounded up to a whole straight pattern repeat. Lining, half-drop patterns, pattern centring and extra heading materials are not included.
- Processing stays on your device. Results are not saved between visits.
