How to use this tool
- Enter 3-12 distinct English letters. Repeated entries in the set are ignored.
- Optionally require one centre letter. Leave the whole-set filter on to find pangrams for your set.
- Letters may be reused any number of times. Turn off the whole-set filter to find other words using only the supplied letters.
Things to know
- Here a pangram means a word using every letter in your selected set, rather than all 26 alphabet letters.
- This supplies dictionary candidates, not daily puzzle answers or official accepted-word lists.
- Uses a locally bundled CMUdict vocabulary of English words and names, with American pronunciations. It is not an official Scrabble, Wordle or Spelling Bee dictionary; check the rules of your game. Valid words can be missing. Punctuation-containing entries are excluded.
- Input and each text setting are limited to 100 characters. At most 1,000 matches appear in the table; the text download includes all matches.
